Who this covers

This policy explains what Tech and Mech USA LLC collects and what we do with it.

It covers techandmech.com, the free tech audit, calls, texts, emails and bookings, and the information we hold while working for you.

What we collect

We collect what you send us, what we need to do the work, and basic data about site visits.

  • What you send: your name, business, phone, email, website and message from the audit form, and anything you tell us by phone, text or email.
  • Bookings: the details you enter when you book a call through Calendly.
  • Client work: the business details and account logins you give us so we can do the work.
  • Site visits: pages viewed, device and browser, rough location and how you found the site, collected by the Google tag.

How we use it

We use it to answer you, run your audit, do the work and bill for it. We do not sell it.

We also use visit data to keep the site working and see which pages help people. We use AI tools to help prepare audits and work, with a person checking the work, and we give those tools only what the job needs.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that help us run the site and do the work, and only what they need.

That includes our hosting company, Google, Calendly, our email provider and our payment processor. We share information when the law requires it. If the business is ever sold, your information goes with it under this policy.

We never sell or rent your information, and we never give your phone number to anyone for their marketing.

Calls and texts

We text you only when you contacted us or asked us to, one person to another.

We do not send automated marketing texts. If you would rather we did not text you, say so and we stop. Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses the Google tag to count visits, and it sets cookies in your browser.

Those cookies show us which pages get read and how people reach the site. They do not tell us your name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on.

How long we keep it

We keep information while we need it for the work, our records and the law, then delete it.

We stop using the logins you gave us when our work ends. Change them when you leave so access is yours alone. Only the people on our team who need your information can see it.

Your choices

You can ask what we have about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it.

Email [email protected]. Some records, such as invoices, we have to keep for as long as the law requires.

Children

This site is for business owners.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor sent us information, email us and we delete it.
